I agree that this is a surprisingly excellent basic phone. The killer of the deal is Net10/tracfone customer service… which is terrible.

Net10 is fantastic! I mean its perfect for those who have been bullied by other cellphone contracts that just take our money and charge way too much money! It is always ten cents a minute and five cents a text!! Its just so hard to find a better deal than that. The phone is fantastic and the service is wonderful! I have never had a problem with Net10 and it just works perfect for me.
just get it at a store minutes cost 30 bucks 300 mins and the phone is 20$ and comes with 300 minutes its free

NET10 is fantastic, no complaints here, but I screwed up my activation and need a new sim, i get it free in about 5-10 days… and i mean I did this to myself I! my ancient NET10 was crushed by some mean cheerleaders…
Fantastic review and fantastic plot from Net10. Unlike many I dont need (and probably cant afford) a smartphone but still want something with a lot of functionality. This phone and Net10′s plot are the perfect combination for me!

Attractive phone and it’s free with Net10! Not a huge deal for me that the phone does not have camera. Usually pictures taken on camera phones are not so nice anyway.
Got my net10 4 months ago. Coverage is fantastic!! Doesn’t burn a hole in my “student pocket”. Truly liberating.
I like the phones. They are simple and take care of business. Really, for a plot that lets you prepay and buy minutes as you need them, it’s not half terrible. It’s really a pretty excellent offer. With $20 a month, you can buy 200 minutes. If you don’t waste a lot of time on the phone, those minutes are going to last you. I mean compare that to a $45 plot that will give you minutes you wont use. Worth looking at if you only use your phone out of necessity and not recreation.
Excellent service and very reliable coverage. Not the most fancy phone but if you just call and text it is a fantastic option. I would recommend it to people not using their phone a lot.
BTW NET10 won the JD Power award for customer satisfaction recently.

I may have to return this phone….just found out that I can’t make international calls to cell phones in Mexico. Oh well.
Net10 is for the moderate user, those who probably talk like 200 minutes a month, if you talk more than that maybe tracfone or straight talk would be better for you. But for that moderate user this certainly fits the bill with only 15 a month for service and flat 10 cent rate and fantastic service.
