How many mobile phone companies are out there trying to sell you deals? So many! How many websites are out there trying to get you to buy phones through them? I just searched Google for “Mobile Phone Offers” and got over 7.7 million responses! That’s just too much,really?. It’s becoming simpler to search for things like car insurance and broadband deals through sites like gocompare.com , but believe it or not there are now really excellent comparison sites for mobile phone offers. First you need to work out what mobile phone offer you need:
- Are you looking for the cheapest pay as you go mobile phones?
- Are you looking for a 12 month free mobile phone contract?
- Are you looking for the nokia N95, Palm Tree or another particular phone?
- Are you looking for a mobile with a free Playstation 3 or Nintendo Wii?
And… vital things to note:
Be wary of cash back deals. Unless it is with a well-known company then avoid it because you might never get your money back.
If you are looking for a pay as you go mobile phone offer then be wary of picking a handset that is cheap. The cell company will often charge you high text & call premiums to get their money back again!
If you are buying a contract mobile phone offer then make sure you know the contract length. Even if the mobile phone is on offer, do you want this particular phone for 18 months? Be careful.

If you have to choose between pay as you go and a contract. It will generally be cheaper if you are using less than 150 minutes or texts a month to go on pay as you go.
